I will say the *only* complaint I have is that the phone attachment is a little small, which requires me to remove my waterproof phone case to use it. Otherwise my phone won’t fit. My case is a bit difficult and involved to get off and put on again.However! The tool functions precisely as I had hoped it would. It attaches neatly on the ledge of the desk and holds there stably. I have it up currently, but keep it attached as I do commission work for art and often need to take pictures to send to clients.- The light is nice and bright and can be directed with ease due to the posable neck.- The phone attachment does make it a tad challenging to see if everything is aligned properly. (I would take a picture of this, but my phone is my only camera. If the company is open to suggestion: perhaps this slight issue could be solved with a sturdy yet see-through plastic?)- All the parts seem well constructed and sturdy. Hopefully this will last a long time!- There’s no shakiness or instability, at least not yet. (With continued use, it will likely gain wear, but that’s the way of things.)I do recommend this product and give it a very solid 4.5/5 or 9/10. 🙂 Great tool for artists!

I purchased this to use in creating art making videos.I was a little concerned when I realized there are basically no instructions for this.However, acknowledging that I have prior experience with tripods and various video recording set-ups, it didn’t take me long to figure out how to put this together. I can’t say for sure that someone new to this would have as easy a time, but I think it probably wouldn’t be too hard to sort out for even a novice.It definitely wouldn’t hurt to include more detailed instructions.It’s very mobile with lots of adjustment joints.I think it would be useful for other artists and crafters in creating videos with their phones, so I definitely recommend.

I needed a rig to take digital photos of old snapshot pictures, using my Samsun S7. The included ‘Led’ light ring had more control features than I thought I would use, but the ability to change the light ‘hue’ from white/blue light to a warmer white/yellow light was a feature that I used in a few pictures. The articulated light stalk was very nice in getting the right amount of light for each picture of the snapshots. If you have a very large camera the camera holder may not extend to accommodate the width. I found it better to use audio control to take pictures than to press the phone surface because doing so in my set up was awkward and introduced a slight bounce in the assembly that introduced blur in the captured image.

So my teenage son opened the box since I asked him to set it up for me. Well, you know teenage boys…if the instructions might not be very clear, they aren’t quite able to improvise and “logic” it out yet…not enough life experience yet, I guess. But having watched one product video on Amazon before purchasing, it was quick to put everything together without even glancing at the instructions (my middle-aged eyes couldn’t even make out the letters anyway and heck if I know where those CostCo magnifying glasses are…between my husband and I, three pairs just keep walking off to unknown or unremembered destinations).The light is great and fantastic for doing close-up product videos provided you are smart and remember to turn off all other lights in the room that might otherwise cast shadows across what you’re filming (can you tell I didn’t quite figure that out right away??).The only issue I have with it is that the phone holder covers crucial parts of the screen so I’m not always totally sure what I’m filming but I keep dreaming that muscle memory will eventually take care of that and every reel will be done in one shot with my less-than-Vanna-White hands!

This was easy to attach and set up and now I’m going to be opening my own crafting channel in conjunction with my already running YouTube channel and hopefully this will open me up to more people and more people will join and learn my budget crafts. It was a good value and it doesn’t shake unless I just bang the table and it’s light in my phone fits on it just fine. The light is great above the phone and I don’t have to show everything I can craft with my pajamas on and nobody will know. Money will spent.

Since I am on a budget and cannot afford a full setup to film unboxings / how-to / tutorial videos, this was the next best thing. This product offered a nice 90 degree angle to do a top-down shot of products, which is just what I was looking for!The quality is nice, and it offers an all-in-one solution for a phone holder, as well as keylight.

I chose this phone mount mainly based on price and the way it worked. There are WAY too many choices out there for camera/phone mounts with a light. This one was reasonably priced and looked okay as well as had mostly good reviews.It was easy-ish to assemble. It stores reasonably well in the original box (a tight fit) but I used a different box. It’s on the shelf in my craft closet. It will probably last me forever at the rate I will use it, that is, not often.My biggest problem was using my phone to record a video – it took me a long time to figure out how the phone needed to be held in the bracket so a video wouldn’t come out “sideways.” This is not the fault of the phone mount. It does work well enough for me to create a video showcasing a fiber art I had created. I attached the mount to my kitchen island countertop and was eventually able to orient my cellphone in the right direction to make the video without me being in it and showing only my art.Very much recommended for use to record videos using a cellphone – just have patience when trying to orient your phone properly.

I use it to film overhead desk videos. I¡¯m glad that I can do it at different angles since the part that holds my phone has a rolling ball that can be adjusted with precision. From the looks of it, most other overhead tripods don¡¯t have that freedom of movement. The ring light is also great and I¡¯m glad it¡¯s also flexible, since as in the pic, I sometimes move it away when I want natural light.

What a perfect simple setup to do hands-free videos! I needed something to help me do some instructional videos while I did the task with my hands. This adjustable arm setup did great. You clam the arm to the end of the table and then you can attach the ring light to either the fixed end of the arm or on the flexible piece that clips onto the arm. That is great that you have some options depending on if you¡¯d rather have the phone or the light more adjustable. And once tightened, I¡¯d say the arm holds pretty well. And the light itself is pretty good. Very happy with my purchase.

I really like using this. I’ve started making videos to share on TikTok and it has helped me enormously. The light is very nice and is adjustable so you can move it into different positions. And it’s pretty easy to change the position of my phone when I’m recording as well. It’s very sturdy, once I got it attached to my desk the base has never moved at all. It is a little inconvenient to have the cord running from the light to a plug-in, but I got it figured out. Other than that I absolutely love everything about it

This is the perfect budget-friendly overhead camera-phone holder, and multiple setting ring light. I mostly use it for card readings, box openings, etc. I have also used it instead of the tri-pod for facing camera, across the room shots, etc. I am low-budget (so far) newbie YouTuber, so I really don’t know all the best tricks and products yet, but I can say, other than my investment in a better phone, this is probably the best tool I’ve bought.

I like how easy it is to attach to a table or desk. Adjustable in all areas. I make alot of instructional/demonstration videos and this does the trick. The light has various settings and plugs in with USB connection. Swivel phone clamp, along with all the knobs for movement, makes it easy to get the right angle for fiming. Good quality and price.

Assembly was easy for me. The unit is quite sturdy and very adjustable. The light has different bright levels as well several color choices from white, yellow tint and blue tint.I read the bad reviews and this is not flimsy or low quality. If I paid twice as much for it, I would still be happy.

I highly recommend this light because it helped give us light when Beryl came to southern Texas we were w out power for 10 days. We kept our battery chargers for cell phones and electronics charged and this lamp/light worked perfectly to power a light source all night for 8 hours for working and studying even though WIFI and all utilities were out.This is a great addition for anyone who preps for if SHTF and can be used for many hundreds of ways in that way if it came to it.Would like to order one for each room soon to have on hand when power goes out as well as normal use w my daily life to help keep the high electric bills from going up. Great work light, just happens to include a handy phone/camera mount. I’m using this as a work light for crochet and reading while I’m in my recliner. It’s side gig involves using my Android Note 9 in its Dexter protective case to quickly and easily film what I’m working on to share with others. I’m very happy that this was easy to assemble and install, and to use.Note: you need a USB port and/or power adapter fir the ring light’s power cord (not supplied with this item), so please plan accordingly.

Very sturdy stand with multiple points that it can be adjusted. Very happy with the light and the flexibility to change to different angles. The metal frame is perfect to attach small magnets to to hang a back drop for taking pictures. The phone mount is strong enough to hold my phone and keep it where I put it (unlike the stand I replaced with this one!)
