The short mounts work, but clutter up my workspace.This long phone mount allows me to attach the clamp to the side of my desk and keep the entire mount out of my work area. I’ve left my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) attached to the mount ever since I unboxed it and the mount hasn’t sagged one bit under the weight.I just tighten down the screws and it holds the phone right where I need it.

This tripod mount seems like it would be great for static product photos and overhead shots of art work. It didn’t work as well for webcam placement; the arms were too long, and the movement options too limited, to get the range of placement that would have been ideal for most webcam usage.Due to the nature of the long arms of this mount, also be aware that scenarios where typing or drawing would shake the desk slightly will almost certainly cause the mounted camera to shake and wobble.

I had been using a regular swing arm camera set up to film my YouTube videos but it didn’t reach out far enough with my table set up to film straight down. This has the additional boom extension and solved my problem immediately. The stability is good and the setup was easy. It also comes with a cell phone mount and even though I use a web cam having the option is nice. Overall a great buy for the price and I would definitely purchase it again.

This really is a great value. It is sturdy and works great. The clamps along the arms are a bit weak so I don¡¯t think they will last if I keep moving it but it was very inexpensive.

Used to move webcam up and away from Big Screen. This allowed to get whole group on single camera for Zoom meetings. 2 cameras require use of 2 laptops, not really cool. Now get 10-12 people sitting around a ‘U’ table with multiple microphones going through a digital mixer with USB out.Everything works great.

So I have IKEA desk lamp and this mount seems to be made by the same factory. At least I can not tell them apart, exactly the same spare parts.The only difference being that this mount does not have the lamp, obviously. Otherwise they are exactly the same.

I have a camera holder with a bendy arm, but it is darn near impossible to get level or to point in the right direction. This camera arm is very good. I can move it all over my drawing table and get a nice, far back view. I am happy with it.

This is the first iPhone overhead tripod that has been able to actually hold the phone without moving. I¡¯m sure much more expensive ones do¡ but if you¡¯re on a budget .. this is a great one.

I am using my iPhone (Max Pro) as a webcam for a Mac Studio. I needed an easy way to attach my phone and go over a big monitor, and down over this monitor. The iPhone is then about 1/3 rd down the monitor. I can then have conference calls looking at people ‘in the eyes’. That works perfectly.

This has got to be one of the most perfect tripod I have ever purchased. I decorate sugar cookies and I need my mini projector to hang straight above my cookie while I decorate and it is SOO perfect. It holds my projector nice and firm and I can move and lower it all kinds of ways. I use to own another tripod and I use to have to take it down after every use. Pain in the rear. This one I mounted and all I do is swivel it out of my way and when I need it, I just swivel back in to position. I LOVE THIS ITEM!!

The arm is definitely a godsend when it comes to the need to be hands-free when either holding your phone a mic or anything in between and you can adjust it to whatever height you want or position within the realm so flexibility and after about a use for around the year it has not broke on me yet either friends and the fact that you can switch out from anything that requires a standard quarter inch screw so from the base of a camera to a mag ring mount or even just a standard clamp but it came with is also nice
